1. What Domster is
Domster is a digital platform for publishing profiles, finding Domsters, organising household jobs, messaging and making contact. Domster is not a household or trade-service provider, employer, employment agency, representative, party to the service contract or payment provider for the work.
The directory and contact viewing are always free. A homeowner pays to publish a job or for a monthly announcement plan. A Domster pays a time-based subscription to publish a profile and respond to jobs. Required individual or company verification is not sold as a separate product.
2. Direct agreement and payment
The service contract exists solely between the customer and Domster. They set the scope, timing, exact location, price, taxes, invoice, warranties, cancellation and payment method. Payment for the work does not pass through Domster; Domster does not hold, route or take commission from it.
Offering and accepting a task in a conversation only records the cooperation status inside Domster. It does not mean that Domster approves the price, scope or legality of the work, and it does not make Domster a party to the service contract. Domster does not guarantee that contact will lead to an agreement, that work will be completed, that a price is suitable or that payment will be made. Users should confirm material terms in writing.
3. Workspaces and verification
One sign-in identity may have a separate homeowner workspace and Domster workspace and switch between them. Phone confirmation and individual identity verification, or company and representative verification, are required before member features are used. The public name comes from the verification result. Account setup and drafts are available before verification. This local test application provides simulated email, phone, individual identity and company checks. No email, SMS, identity document or registry lookup is needed for this walkthrough. It updates the chosen display name and unlocks test jobs and test Domster profiles; it does not confirm a legal identity or grant a genuine verification badge. Test jobs are visible to signed-in testers and test reviews do not affect public ratings. Optional Stripe sandbox integrations remain available. Use fictional details and test payment cards only.
A “verified” label means only that the stated check succeeded under the process in force at that time. It is not a recommendation or a guarantee of skill, licensing, criminal-record status, insurance or future work quality. Domsters remain responsible for required licences, taxes, insurance and legality.
4. Activity and ranking
To appear in search, a Domster needs an active subscription. When it expires, the profile leaves search results. A Domster can confirm availability each week; this shows an “Available this week” label and a higher place in the recommended order, and without it the profile stays visible. The order cannot be bought. This does not change existing ratings and does not by itself delete the account.
Results consider service relevance, selected city, confirmed activity and ratings. A paid subscription does not itself increase the star rating.
5. Reviews
A review unlocks only after the customer sends a task offer in the conversation, the Domster accepts it, and the customer then marks the task completed. A member may not respond to their own post or review their own profile. Fake reviews, threats, third-party personal data and discriminatory or unlawful content are prohibited. Domster may hold, inspect or remove a review and offer an appeal process.
Reviews are user opinions, not findings by Domster. Both sides may rate each other under the same rules.
6. Location, messages and photos
Only a city is entered in a public Domster post. Users must not publish a street, house number, entry code, coordinates or other exact-location data in public descriptions or photos. Messages and attachments are visible to the conversation participants; each member decides what to disclose there and remains responsible for uploaded content.
7. Safety and prohibited use
Fraud, harassment, discrimination, dangerous or unlawful work, interference with other accounts, bulk data collection and circumvention of access limits are prohibited. On reasonable suspicion, Domster may restrict a profile, remove or hold content and cooperate with competent authorities.
8. Payments to Domster
Stripe sandbox checkout is enabled; it creates test credits or test subscriptions only and does not charge real money. Labelled test promotions are also available. Before payments launch, Domster will publish final purchase, cancellation and refund terms, payment-provider details, VAT information and consumer withdrawal information. Displayed consumer prices include VAT.
9. Limitation of liability
Domster provides the platform “as available” and, to the extent permitted by law, is not responsible for user conduct, the quality or outcome of work, damage, delays, non-payment or loss arising from the direct agreement between users.
Nothing excludes liability that Slovenian or EU law does not permit Domster to exclude or limit, including mandatory consumer rights. The limitation does not protect Domster from its own fraud, intent, gross negligence or other cases where exclusion is impermissible.
10. Disputes and contact
Users should first resolve disputes about the work directly. Domster may provide information at its discretion, but is not an arbitrator and does not assume either party’s debt or obligations. Contact /help for platform questions.
